Come hangout at the South Hayward Market and join Bike Hayward for a fun ride on Hayward's new protected bike lanes!

This easy-paced ride will take you from South Hayward BART to West Tennyson's and Panama St.'s recently opened protected bike lane. We'll also ride by the existing Huntwood Ave. protected bike lanes. See full route here.

The ride is perfect for:

• Cyclists of all experience levels

• Those wanting to try out Hayward's new bike infrastructure

• Anyone looking for a fun and social way to explore Hayward on two wheels

Here are the ride details:

📍 Start/End @ South Hayward BART Station parking lot, by the South Hayward Market

🕛 Time: Meet between 12pm & 1pm; ride out at 1pm

📏 Distance: Approximately 9.5 miles (round trip)

Can't make it to the start? No problem! You can join us at one of these stops:

1️⃣ Weekes Community Center @ 1:30pm

2️⃣ Mount Eden Park @ 2:00 p.m.

🚲 Your bike and helmet (mandatory)

🥤 Water bottle

🌯 Snacks (optional since you can also buy/eat @ the South Hayward Market)
